Bunee Launches at SXSW

BUNEE, a new messaging app that also lets you record video stories and meet new people, is launching this year at Austin’s SXSW festival. Bunee has fun messaging features, like  being able to react to messages with emojis and send videos that self destruct. It also boasts the helpful messaging tools you’ve always wanted, like being able to edit or delete a message after you’ve sent it.

What makes Bunee truly unique in the world of messaging apps is that it includes a fun interface for meeting new people in your area.  A double-blind matching game makes meeting other locals quick and fun. You only have 3 seconds to decide if you want to meet, so think fast!

All of the pictures and video stories in Bunee are taken with the in-app camera, so you can finally say goodbye to catfishing.

Once you’ve added your friends on Bunee (or matched with new ones), you can get a glimpse of their world through video stories that last up to 10 days. Bunee doesn’t permanently store your video stories, photos, or messages, and it lets you know if anyone takes a screenshot, so users can feel free to express themselves.
